Name: Marques de Caceres
Variety: Verdejo (12.5% Alcohol)
Region: Rueda
Country: Spain
Year: 2012
My Review: The color appears to be a pale gold with a hint of green. It looks to be medium bodied for a white wine with slight legs. This wine has a very fruity aroma. I smell apple, pear and apricot. Apple is the dominant aroma I smell. Overall it is a fairly smooth wine with slight acidity. It is very sweet and fruity, but there is also a metallic aftertaste that for some reason reminds me slightly of chlorine
Winery Review: This white wine by Marques de Caceres from the Rueda D.O. revels in full virtues of the Verdejo grape. Intense bouquet, vibrant fruit and long-lasting flavors. Delicious as anapertif and with salads, fish, seafood, pasta, etc.
I did not drink this with food
I might drink this again (6.5/10)
