Name: Fat Bastard
Variety: Chardonnay (13.5% Alcohol)
Region: France
Country: France
Year: 2006
My Review: This wine is the darkest white wine I have ever seen, it is the same color as apple juice. It is also the thickest white wine I have seen, it actually has decently slow legs. It does not have a very strong smell, but I do smell pear and apple. It tastes exactly like alcoholic apple juice. This is also a very flat wine with little to no acidity.
Winery Review: To craft the Fat bastard Chardonnay, grapes are sourced from all over the Languedoc-Rousillon, from the banks of the Rhone in the east to Carcassonne in the west, and from the foothills of the Massif Central in the north to the Mediterranean coast in the south. These different origins give the wine the balanced fruit flavor and acidity that have made it a consumer favorite. Round in the mouth with white flower aromas and a long, toasty finish.
I did not drink this with food
I would probably not drink this again
