Name: Hedgeline Vineyards
Variety: Riesling (12.5% Alcohol)
Region: Washington
Country: United States
Year: 2012
My Review: This wine has a rich golden color, slightly darker than most Rieslings that I have had in the past. It appears to be medium to full-bodied with more legs than usual for a white wine. It smells like sweet pear, apricot and flowers. It tastes very sweet with all the same flavors as aromas. It is smooth with little or no acidic bite with a slightly creamy texture.
Winery Review: Clean and gentle, this riesling has notes of lees and pear to complement its modestly rich texture. The flavors are fresh, leaning toward apple, with a straightforward purity.
I did not drink this with food
I would probably drink this again (8/10)
