Name: Lindemans
Variety: 59% Cabernet Sauvignon 41% Shiraz (13.5% Alcohol)
Region: Victoria
Country: Australia
Year: 2005
My Review: This is a very dark, ruby red wine that looks thick from its slow legs. This wine smells smokey, with hints of chocolate covered cherries. It has a syrup like texture with slight tannins. This is a very smooth wine all around.
Winery Review: Lindemans is one of the most respected and enduring Australian winemakers, crafting wines since 1843. Consistent from one year to the next, Lindemans Bin Series has become one of the world's favorite range of wines. Lindemans Bin 55 Shiraz Cabernet is an approachable, full flavored that can be enjoyed with pasta, red meat, or cheese.
I did not drink this with food
I would probably drink this again
