Name: Loosen
Variety: Riesling (8.5% Alcohol)
Region: Mosel
Country: Germany
Year: 2012
My Review: This wine looks like a very light wine, both in body and color. It is one of the lightest shades of yellow I've seen in a white wine. It smells flowery, like lilacs. It also has a metallic scent. This wine is a very smooth and sweet wine, but I am not a fan of the metallic aftertaste.
Winery Review: A crisp, fruity and refreshing Riesling from the mineral-rich slate of soil of the Mosel valley. It is an ideal companion to mildly spicy stir fry dishes and Indian cuisine or simply serve it as an aperitif.
I did not drink this with food
I might drink this again
