Name: Lesse-Fitch
Variety: Pinot Noir (13.5% alcohol)
Region: Napa, California
Country: United States
Year: 2012
My Review: The immediate smell I get from this wine is smoke, specifically burning wood. There is also the traditional cherry aroma. The wine tastes just as it smells, and has a smooth finish. It is light to medium bodied with little or no legs.
Winery Review: This wine celebrates our home, the Lesse-Fitch Adobe. Built in 1836, this historical landmark in the Sonoma Plaza was named after Jacob Lesse and Henry Fitch, brothers-in-law to General Mariano Vallejo, the founder of the town of Sonoma.
I did not drink this with food
I would definitely drink this again
