Name: Santa Julia
Variety: Malbec (13.5% Alcohol)
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2013
My Review: This wine appears to be medium bodied and is ruby red in color. This wine does not have a strong aroma, but I do smell dark fruit and a decent amount of oak. This wine is very sweet; I taste the fruit, but there is a hint of green beans on the mid palate that I am not a fan of. Other than the green bean flavor, this is a very smooth tasty wine.
Winery Review: This purple-red wine is packed with ripe fruit flavors of plum, cherry, and strawberries with hints of chocolate and a spicy finish. It will pair well with steaks, burgers, and pastas with red sauces.
I did not drink this with food
I might drink this again (7/10)
