Name: Hogue
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon (13.5% Alcohol)
Region: Columbia Valley, Washington
Country: United States
Year: 2012
My Review: This is a very dark wine, almost black, with a deep color around the edges. It is full bodied and has thick legs. It smells strongly of cherry, strawberry, and buttered toast. After tasting this wine, I get flavors of maple syrup and vanilla as well as the fruit. This wine is very sweet with mild tannins and very smooth.
Winery Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon is finely balanced with flavors of blackberry, blueberry, and cherry with a touch of vanilla and oak. It is a perfect match with grilled steak, roast beef, or ribs.
I did not drink this with food
I would drink this again (8/10)
